Woodridge / Silver Creek - Visiting the Attractions and Travelling Around
Woodridge, Clear Creek and Silver Creek are adjoining sub-divisions that form the community located off highway US27 to the west of Walt Disney World Resort. Managed by a Home Owners Association, there is a high level of maintenance, with villas of varying designs tending to be well spaced for privacy. The community offers tranquil settings and is situated in a conservation area with a number of surrounding lakes.
Being located south of the Lake Louisa State Park this area tends to be more sedate. That said, if you head east on to US192 you will find countless restaurants and shops.
Nearby is a local post-office, small supermarket and pizzeria, however for all those everyday essentials, there is a new Wal-Mart Supercenter conveniently located just over 1 mile south on US27. Adjacent to WalMart, you will also find a Blimpie Subs & Salad, Quiznos sub, Wendys, Taco Bell and a Chinese take-away. Should you need it, there is also a Lowe's electrical superstore opposite. Alternatively, head north for a couple of miles for the Golden Eagle Village parade of shops which has a Publix supermarket and eateries alongside.
For evening meals, the majority of restaurants can be found on the US192 (towards Kissimmee), however, if you prefer to stay closer to home, there is Randy's restaurant and Devenney's Irish pub not too far from the entrance to the communities.
