Orange Tree - Visiting the Attractions and Travelling Around
Tennis / Sports Courts
A new community offering a variety of luxury villas with private pools, set in a tranquil orange grove environment. Communal facilities include tennis and basketball courts, large playing field (soccer pitch) and a children's playground. For anyone wishing to enjoy Florida without the pzazz of the attractions, head around 7 miles north of the community on US27 for the Lake Louisa State Park. Within this conservation area, there are numerous nature and cycling trails, as well as spring fed crystal-clear lakes for fishing, boating and swimming.
The new Golden Eagle Village parade of shops with a Publix supermarket is just under a mile south on US27. Travel a further 2 miles south for more local shops, a post-office, small supermarket and pizzeria. The nearest WalMart Supercenter is located a further 1 mile south on US27 before the intersection with US192. Adjacent to WalMart, there is a Blimpie Subs & Salad, Quiznos sub, Wendys, Taco Bell and a Chinese take-away. Should you need it, there is also a Lowe's electrical superstore on the other side of the road.
For evening meals, a vast number of restaurants can be found on the US192 (east, towards Kissimmee). However, if you prefer to stay closer to home, there is Randy's restaurant and Devenney's Irish pub around 3 miles south of the community.

Situated to the west of Walt Disney World Resort, the area is less populated than the US192, yet still offers an array of eateries and shops, as well as the obligatory WalMart and Publix supermarkets.
Heading south towards the junction of US192 (and east along it), the number and variety of shops, outlets and restaurants will certainly increase. For the keen golfers, head a couple of miles further south beyond the junction with US192 for a number of popular and challenging golf courses bordering US27.
