Weston Hills - Visiting the Attractions and Travelling Around
Community / Resort Pool
Weston Hills is a small, exclusive gated community, offering short-term rental properties within a predominantly residential neighbourhood. Surrounded by conservation wetland and open countryside, the community can feel a million miles away from the hustle and bustle of the parks.
Local facilities include a community centre, number of swimming pools (with one specifically for children), a children's play area, tennis courts, volleyball and basketball court and even a soccer pitch. If you want to get away from it all, Lake Louisa State Park is north along US27, with its nature trails and fishing.
For everyday essentials, just over half-a-mile south on US27 there is a new Publix supermarket at the Golden Eagle village, which also has small shops and the Bamboo Garden take-away alongside. Located a further 2 miles south there is a WalMart Supercenter, which has a Blimpie Subs & Salad, Quiznos sub, Wendys, Taco Bell and another Chinese take-away alongside. Should you need it, there is also a Lowe's electrical superstore on the other side of the road. More local to Weston Hills there is a IHOP (International House of Pancakes) and Olive Garden restaurant just south of the community. Approximately 1 mile further south is a small supermarket, post office and pizzeria.
For evening meals, a vast number of restaurants can be found on the US192 (towards Kissimmee), however, if you prefer to stay closer to home, there is a Red Lobster, Chilli's, Santa Fe, Sushi Bar, Devenney's Irish pub and a number of pizzerias.

Situated to the west of Walt Disney World Resort, the area is less populated than the US192, yet still offers an array of eateries and shops, as well as the obligatory WalMart and Publix supermarkets.
Heading south towards the junction of US192 (and east along it), the number and variety of shops, outlets and restaurants will certainly increase.
