Borders Golf Course
Esprit is a smaller, established community of around 260 homes located at the north end of highway US27 and alongside the 9-hole Polo Park East golf course. The community also borders Old Lake Davenport, which is stocked and can be fished with a local license. This and the local wildlife add to the peacefulness when staying at Esprit.
If fishing is a little too quiet and golf is your preferred past-time, then this is an ideal location. With the smaller, less busy course, you can play a quick round and still be back in time for the parks or a relaxing day in the sun. There are also many other world-class golf courses in the local area. For the more energetic visitors, Esprit offers its guests the use of tennis courts, a basketball court and a communal pool.
For those everyday essentials, there is a local Publix supermarket around 2 miles away on US192 - which is handy when heading towards the parks - and a WalMart Supercenter around 2 miles north of US192. Both supermarkets offer a selection of smaller shops and eateries alongside. These include: Applebees, Quiznos, an Indian take-away, Dominos pizzeria and a wine & bistro parlour.
Highway US192 is the main road through to Kissimmee and has countless shops, restaurants, as well as all the crazy golf you can manage!
If you head south on US27 towards Interstate 4 and there is the Posner Park shopping centre offering major stores including JC Penney, Target, Ross, Dress for Less and many more. Again, there is a further selection of restaurants available.

Esprit is located on highway US27, around 1 mile south of the intersection with highway US192 (the main road through to Kissimmee). The most straightforward driving route to Walt Disney World is either US192 or as an alternative, the less-busy western route SR429. For Universal Studios, SeaWorld and the International Drive area, head for Interstate 4 then north towards Orlando. Orlando International airport is accessible from Interstate 4 and the Beachline Expressway SR528. This is also the route to Kennedy Space Center and Cocoa Beach.
For the Gulf coast and Busch Gardens, head south on Interstate 4 towards Tampa. For Legoland Florida, head south on highway US27 passing the intersection with Interstate 4.
This is the stretch of highway US27 which borders Old Lake Davenport and encompasses a number of rental communities near to the intersection with US192. Improvements to the roads and increase in visitors to this area have meant an increase in the supermarkets, shops and restaurants in this area. When heading to the parks US192 is the best route and for the Gulf coast, head south for Interstate 4.
Staying in this area means a car is essential when visiting the theme parks, area attractions and the local shops.
